Former Ghanaian international John Paintsil
Former Ghanaian international John Paintsil revealed that he had changed the name of his newly acquired club in Stallions FC.
Paintsil officially bought Wa All Stars from Kwesi Nyantakyi, former president of the Ghana Football Federation, who had been banned, and decided to rename the team.
The former defender of Fulham hinted that all the necessary procedures had been made regarding the name change.
"The name of the club has been changed to Stallions FC. This name was changed by special resolution … with the approval of the companies register on February 28, 2019. It was constituted … as a company limited by guarantee … ", tweeted Paintsil.
It is not clear yet whether the team will still be based in Wa or will be moved to another location.
