Ace Highlife musician, Daniel Amakye Dede, revealed the circumstances that led to his accident in Nsutam on the Anyinam-Bunso Road in the Eastern Region, which claimed the life of his former director , Isaac Yeboah.

He said that the driver, who had caused the accident, was on the phone, so he lost control of his vehicle and hit his car.

"A guy who was in the car with me said after regaining consciousness that the driver was talking on the phone and had crashed into our car," he opined.

Amakye Dede revealed it during Adom FM's morning show, Dwaso Nsem, while congratulating the TV station for airtime on the discussion of the carnage on Ghana's roads.

The legend of Highlife was seriously injured and lost his manager in the accident of Saturday, January 2, 2016.

The Iron Boy, as it is affectionately known, was to occur in a place called Paradise, located a few meters from the popular Linda Dor Restaurant rest stop.

According to reports, the car also reportedly injured four people at a nearby petrol station.

Sharing his experience three years after the incident, Amakye Dede revealed that the reckless driver had been brought to court this year after persistent pressure on the police.

He lamented that such neglected drivers are being left behind after causing the death of innocent Ghanaians.

The musician Highlife warned that such unnecessary crashes, if left unchecked, will deprive Ghana of considerable human resources.
