Chelsea is about to offer Callum Hudson-Odoi all the support that the teenager needs after being confronted with two incidents of racist abuse, both for the club and for the country.

Hudson-Odoi was subjected to racist chants, alongside his fellow Englishmen Raheem Sterling and Danny Rose, in the 5-1 win of the Euro 2020 qualifier against Montenegro on Monday night.

Last week, Chelsea officially lodged a complaint with UEFA over racist abuse against 18-year-old Hudson-Odoi at the close of the 5-0 Europa League played in front of the club. Dynamo Kiev on March 14th.

Chelsea has the utmost respect for the well-being of players, and it is understood that Hudson-Odoi will be offered a wide range of options for additional support as it deems necessary.

The governing body confirmed Tuesday the appointment of an ethics and discipline inspector to "evaluate" Chelsea's complaint before deciding to open disciplinary proceedings.
