About 260 merchants from Nsawam Adoagyiri and surrounding areas have committed to invest their funds in reputable institutions of the municipality.

According to them, these investments would be used to create businesses to stimulate the local economy.

Mr. Gilbert Amoah, appointed by the Government and President of the Merchants Association of the Nsawam Loading Station in an interview with the Ghana News Agency after the inauguration of the Nsawam badociation to Nsawam mentioned investing in.

Amoah said the badociation created would help more young people in the municipality find jobs to become entrepreneurs.

He said that a seven-member committee chaired by him had been elected at the inauguration and had called on Star Ghana, other non-governmental organizations and other private sector entrepreneurs to help them.

Mr. Frank Annoh Dompreh, MP for the constituency of Nsawam Adoagyiri who presided over the ceremony, congratulated the badociation and said the government was working on the rehabilitation of the ASTEK factory.
