Jordan Ayew, striker of the Black Stars and the Crystal Palace, pbades in turn on Sports Check with the sports editor of Ghanaweb, Daniel Oduro.

At just 27 years old, Jordan Ayew has already played nine years for the senior national team, the Black Stars.

This year, unless a disaster, he will play his fourth Africa Cup of Nations for Ghana.

And as Asamoah Gyan, still reliable, enters the twilight of his career, Jordan Ayew knows that much will be expected of him as Ghana tries to win a first title of the CAN for 37 years.

The youngest son of legendary Abedi Pelé had a difficult season with Crystal Palace, a club he had lent on loan to Swansea, who had been relegated.

The goals are exhausted for him and he has gone through a tumultuous time with some of the fans who are eager to see him come back.

Jordan is no less aware of this, but he is optimistic that he can transform his season and help his club in the last few weeks of the English Premier League.

He also set an ambitious goal to make a strong impression at the upcoming African Cup of Nations in Egypt.

In his words, Jordan said, "CAN is my number one priority this year. I've been thinking about it for about a year and I think if we stay together, we can win it. "

On a lighter side, Jordan reveals the funniest and strangest players of the Black Stars. He also chooses his favorite roommate and the most brilliant player of the national team.

He explains how his father has made him more supportive and if his parents keep him on a leash as the press suggests.
