No1 Lounges in Melbourne, Sydney Airport open to all passengers

The luxurious Etihad lounges in Melbourne and at Sydney Airport, formerly reserved for first-clbad or business travelers traveling internationally with Etihad or Virgin Australia, are now open to all at a price.

Starting last Friday, the lounges, now managed by No1 Lounges, a British airport lounges operator, will be open to all international travelers wanting to pay entry at $ 90 (or $ 80 if you book online in advance).

Lounge access, called "The House", is available regardless of the airline or clbad of pbadengers served.

The entrance fee gives you up to three hours in the living room, with the possibility of buying overtime.

Inside, pbadengers will appreciate all the typical attributes of an exclusive airport lounge: Wi-Fi, showers, charging stations, newspapers and magazines.

The lounges offer à la carte dishes, a well-maintained bar offering beer, wine and spirits and coffee prepared by the barista. The opening menus include main dishes such as Middle Eastern chicken musukhan, burgers and mushroom gnocchi. Breakfasts include eggs Bénédicte, personalized omelettes, as well as avocados and split peas on toast.

The Sydney lounge has 120 seats and overlooks the 51th gate of the airport and tracks beyond, while the Melbourne lounge has 140 seats and also offers a view of the slopes.

Located in the heart of Sydney International Terminal 1, this 8,000-square-foot salon features 120 seats and offers an immediate view of Gate 51 and tracks beyond.

Etihad and Virgin Australia pbadengers traveling for business or first clbad will always have free access to the lounges.

No1 Lounges was launched in Britain 12 years ago, at the initiative of former theater producer Phil Cameron. Etihad has already partnered with No1 to take control of its lounge at Heathrow Airport in London. The airline said it was considering extending the partnership to other shows.
