Imprisoned 14 years Prison officers reportedly disappeared from prison walls

An alleged armed thief who allegedly spiritually disappeared from Kumasi Central Prisons declared that he had no spiritual charm, but that he had helped escape by the police and prison officers.

Abdul Razak, one of five people accused of conspiracy to commit robbery, escaped from Kumasi Central Prisons on November 2, 2018 with no sign of release from prison.

Prison officers reportedly disappeared from the prison walls.

Abdul Razak, who was arrested again in the north of the country, told Judge Francis Obiri, a High Court judge, that his escape was helped by police and prison guards.

The court has since ordered the regional police command to produce the sergeant. Kofi Fofie and Sgt. Agbenor Mathias.

It also ordered the Regional Prison Command to bring to court all registered prison officers bearing the family name; Ofori or Asamoah on April 2, 2019.

Rufai Bashiru, Abdellah Mohammed, aka Survival, one of the Alhaji (in general), Abdul Razak, alias Ahmed and Sulemana Abdul Moomin, are currently being tried for conspiracy to commit robberies.
