Lady Gaga "s really relied on" Jeremy Renner after ending his engagement and the two are "very close"

The rumor that the friendship between Lady Gaga and Jeremy Renner was "super-close" was caused by the sorrow of the singer's love at the end of his engagement with Christian Carino.

UsWeekly said Wednesday that 32-year-old Gaga had found a shoulder on which to mourn the 48-year-old Avengers star.

"Chris did not treat Gaga very well towards the end of their relationship and she really relied on Jeremy in the weeks that followed her end," a source told the publication.

Another source said: "They have become very close and hang out all the time".

This is not just the actor who helps the diva A Star Is Born to recover from his failed romance with the talented agent Carino.

The pop star Shallow would also approach her six-year-old daughter Ava, who shares it with her former Sonni Pacheco.

Gaga broke up with her fiance in February, less than a week before accepting the Best Original Song award at the 91st Academy Awards for A Star Is Born's Shallow.

The report is only the latest in a long list of speculations on Gaga, following his breakup.

She recently felt the need to use Twitter to silence rumors that she is expecting a child.

Gaga also criticized social media sites for allowing people to easily spread misinformation, while she was addressing false claims that she would have created a romance with her co-star and director of A Star Is Born, Bradley Cooper.

The rumors began after Cooper and she had intimately sung the Shallow song at the Oscars.

"People have seen love and, guess what, that's what we wanted to see you. This is a song of love. The movie, A star is born, it's a love story, "she said when asked about gossip.

Singer The Million Reasons insisted that Cooper and she perform the song in their characters, as they are both "artists" who want to give the best possible performance.

She added, "From a performance point of view, it was so important for both of us to stay connected all the time. When you sing love songs, that's what you want people to feel. I'm an artist! I guess we did a good job. Deceive!
