The McDan Group has been granted authority to operate and manage the Executive Lounge for private jets of Terminal 1 (T1) at Kotoka International Airport (KIA).

As Ghana's first fixed base operator (FBO), McDan will offer business jet operators a safe and private alternative to the airport's main terminal.

KIA's private jet terminal has been separated from the main Terminal 3 building, offering a range of services to private jet customers, aircraft and crews.

This is part of the efforts of the government to change the face of aviation in the country.

The FBO should help McDan achieve its goal of improving the customer experience while expanding its operations at Ghana's main airport.

Over the years, McDan has earned an enviable reputation in shipping and logistics management.

According to the FBO, McDan will now provide all of KIA T1's ground handling services. This will include, but not be limited to, general aviation operations, aircraft service operations, aircraft (aircraft) maintenance and repairs, and aircraft rental and leasing. 39; aircraft.

Other services to be provided will include aircraft chartering, aircraft sales, aircraft storage and hangar rentals.

McDan will need to invest in appropriate equipment and infrastructure to ensure efficient, safe and secure operations at the airport, as well as to recruit and maintain sufficient numbers of staff

Airports and private jet terminals are designed to make life easier for people, giving them the opportunity to get on the tarmac, register for boarding their plane or in the lounge.

The property has a VIP lounge, a lounge for crews and a flight planning office, as well as conference rooms and a hangar.

Pbadengers and crew members can complete customs and immigration formalities in the same building, which also houses a restaurant that can provide in-flight catering services.
