Ghana striker Kwesi Appiah delighted to score against Mauritania on his international return

AFC Wimbledon striker, Kwesi Appiah, expressed his satisfaction to wear the national jersey again after scoring in Ghana's 3-1 triumph over Mauritania.

The 28-year-old won and converted a penalty after making his return to the national team for the first time since 2015.

Injuries have spoiled the career of the former Crystal Palace striker, but Appiah looks set to rediscover his international form and the Kwesi Appiah coach's team for the coup de grace, for AFCON 2019 .

"Glory to God! Two wins and one goal! It was a pleasure!", He posted on Twitter.

Kwesi Appiah is expected to leave Ghana for England in order to join his teammates at Wimbledon for the end of the season.

At the same time, the English League One team congratulated the player for his goal against Mauritania.
