Harry Kane said he had a real ambition to change sports and become a kicker for an NFL team when his football career ends.

"It's true," said the Spurs forward to ESPN.

"Something I absolutely want to try in 10 or 12 years.

"It goes back to this desire to be the best, and even if I download a game on my phone, can I be the best in the world?"

"If you play in the Premier League and World Cup and then play in the NFL, would you then be considered one of the greatest sportsmen of all time?"

Kane attended this year's Super Bowl between the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams in Atlanta. After the match, he met Tom Brady. Both had become friendly via social media and Brady invited Kane to the team's party.

Kane has long been an admirer of Brady. At 41, this is someone who inspired the English international early in his career.

"I started watching it on YouTube," said Kane.

"We had similar doubts when we were younger, maybe we are not the best athletes we are kids."

"It was a big inspiration – not many people thought it would become so good, or even play in the NFL, and it became the best of all time.

"At the time, it gave me a real boost to say: anything is possible, if you have that confidence in yourself, that motivation and hunger, you can do it."
