Ahmed Hussein Suale was killed by an unknown badailant
Security agencies appear to have taken a step forward in prosecuting those suspected of killing Ahmed Hussein Suale, a private investigator who worked for Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his Tiger Eye PI.
It appears that an alleged killer of Ahmed Suale is currently under the custody of the National Investigation Bureau (BNI) on behalf of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service.
Although security officers are largely on the case and do not want to give more details beyond the confirmation of the arrest, DAILY GUIDE can confirm that two arrests were made last week.
The newspaper was told that the official had been killed by an informant from the Zongo community in Nanakrom, near Madina in Accra, where Ahmed Suale had been killed.
Two suspects were first arrested, but after intensive screening, one of them was released but the main suspect remains in detention.
The remaining suspect would provide "important" information to security guards.
During a NET2 television show a few days ago, the first vice-president of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of the Bono region, Kwame Baffoe, aka Abronye DC, also spoke about the arrests and the release on bail from one of the suspects. at the Kotobabi police station in Accra where he was detained.
He accused the Kotobabi Police Station of collecting money and providing bail to the suspect who he believed was working with Anas Armyaw Anas' PI Tiger Eye.
However, the chief superintendent of the Nima Division judicial police director, William Daah, denied the allegation when the newspaper contacted him.
DAILY GUIDE, after contacting the commander of the Kotobabi Police Station to verify the truth of this allegation, stated that "there is no report of this type to the police station, as this would have been presumed.
After hearing the allegation, the police headquarters sent a team to the Kotobabi police station to authenticate the story, collected by DAILY GUIDE.
The team reported that there was no such report in the police station log.
Ahmed Suale was killed by motorcyclists on January 16th, which caused outrage in the country.
When DAILY GUIDE contacted one of the deceased's brothers, he said, "I have not been informed of an arrest. However, we were asked to identify some suspects earlier, as none of us could be identified as the perpetrator. "
