One person reportedly died while three others were injured to varying degrees during a terrible accident at a place known as "Manso Foot Bridge" on the Oda-Manso road.
The body of the deceased is named after Akua Boaduwaa 52, according to the police report, was filed at the public hospital of Oda.
Police said the accident occurred Tuesday afternoon around 14:00 when the driver of a Kia-Bongo truck carrying GE 683-19 registration number carrying food products. Akroso at Oda lost control of his steering wheel after jumping into a huge pothole the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree before throwing himself into a ditch killing the woman 52 years old.
One witness testified that the Kia truck was at high speed before bouncing back into the potholes and losing control of the steering wheel.
The driver of the vehicle, who was also one of the other two wounded, is treated in the same establishment where the dead are deposited.
