Stream Cage the Elephant & Beck – "Night Race" | New music

[ad_1]

At the beginning of the year, Cage the Elephant announced the release of April 19 of his new album, Social indices. One of the most notable entries from the 13-song list is a collaboration with Beck nicknamed "Night Running," a name that has also been attributed to their tour in the lead. Today, Cage launched the much-anticipated collaborative cup as the LP's latest single.

The release follows Social indices'Single,' Ready to Let Go ', is in line with the indie-rock sensibilities of the band and the House of Glbad. For its part, "Night Running" is more inspired by reggae (probably the influence of Beck), with an opening offering a doubled bbad line and psychedelic and aerial effects. As the group approaches the chorus, the title evokes the more traditional writing of Cage the Elephant, with a catchy chorus of call-response voices to create a complete and well-stratified sound.
