Japanese industrial production rebounds

Industrial production in Japan rose for the first time in four months in February. This figure was up 1.4% from the previous month.

The production of automobiles, car engines and chip making equipment destined for overseas markets rebounded after the slowdown caused by the slowdown in China.

However, according to government officials, production has not returned to its level before January, while the slowdown in exports had caused a sharp decline.

In the future, they expect an increase of 1.3% for March and 1.1% for April.

But they have maintained their basic badessment that industrial production is weakening.
