Liverpool has increased its interest in Callum Hudson-Odoi from Chelsea, the player's agent "having a conversation" with the Reds.

The Jurgen Klopp team would closely monitor the 18-year-old and be ready to compete with Bayern Munich for the winger's signing this summer.

The Blues have rejected a £ 35 million offer from the German champions during the January transfer period, and look forward to tying the limelight to a new £ 100,000 contract a week.

But according to the German newspaper Kicker, Bradley, Hudson-Odoi's brother, who is also his representative, recently had a conversation with Liverpool about a potential move this summer.

Hudson-Odoi has not played in a Premier League game for Chelsea this season. He has been limited to appearances in the England Cup and European Cup, but he has been impressed by his many goals and badists.

And it was these insights that were enough to Gareth Southgate to give the Chelsea Academy his full debut in England this week, placing him in the 5-1 win against Montenegro on Monday – a few days after his first selection against Czech Republic Wembley.

After the match against Montenegro, Southgate praised the Blues winger.

"I'm really happy," he said.

"The game was simple, in that we had talked all week about using the width and the badurance that we had not refused the use of our wingers.

"That's where we were fabulously productive tonight and the young Callum Hudson-Odoi had a fabulous performance and showed what he showed us all week.

"And for the team to recover from a goal behind, at a place that was very difficult for us before, we showed a good character and it was a good test for us.

"With young players, it always belongs to them. You can see the talent, and his candidacy with us has been excellent and he must continue in this way, "he added.

"It's a big step forward for him, but like any player, you have to constantly work and try to improve."
