President Akufo-Addo and his Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia
The vice president, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, addressed his Facebook wall to wish President Akufo-Addo a happy birthday.
"My wife, Samira Bawumia, our family and I wish SE a happy 75th birthday. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, "he added.
He further asked God's strength for the President so that he could continue his work to transform Ghana into a better one.
He said, "Allaah gives you long life and good health to continue to lead Ghana's transformation agenda."
President Akufo-Addo, who today is 75 years old, has been described as a true leader, an icon and a distinguished statesman.
He is currently on an official visit to Malta and is expected to return on 30 March 2019.
He was accompanied by Foreign Minister Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, Minister of Trade and Industry Alan Kyerematen, and officials from the Presidency and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
