Attorney General William Barr Issues Redacted Version of 400-page Report

Robert Mueller's 400-page report on Russia's interference in the 2016 US elections will be released in April.

Attorney General William Barr wrote to senators saying that he would return a redacted copy of the report available in the middle of the month, "if not earlier."

After a 22-month investigation, the special advocate did not conclude that President Donald Trump's campaign had been equated with Russia in 2016.

He left it up to Mr. Barr to decide whether Mr. Trump had obstructed justice.

In his four-page summary published last week, Barr concluded that, based on the evidence presented in the report, it was not sufficient to charge the charge leader with the charges. .

Since then, many US politicians have asked for more details and full publication of the report.

At the same time, the president celebrated the report's findings at a rally held Thursday in Michigan, calling claims against him "lies, defamation and slander".

"Everyone will soon be able to read it on their own," Barr wrote in his letter on Friday.
