Tottenham fans will love what Chris Sutton said about their Champions League match with Man City

Tottenham is closer and closer to his new home.

The $ 1 billion state-of-the-art stadium is ready to welcome the first football team for the first time next week, when the Spurs face Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

The new stadium, built on the site of the former White Hart Lane, hosted a clash for under-18s last weekend. The legends of the Spurs will face the legends of Inter Milan during a second test event on Saturday to obtain a security certificate for the new home.

And former high-flying striker Chris Sutton thinks it could help them mbadively against Pep Guardiola's side.

Sending to the Daily Mail, Sutton said, "The move to the house could be the tonic they need after escaping from the title race.

"The atmosphere will be electric for the Champions League against Manchester City .It would not be a surprise if they caused annoyances in this match."

Sutton was not the only one to have this opinion.

Jamie Redknapp said: "The Champions League is where the new stadium effect will come in. Their second game against Manchester City in the quarterfinals will be the night the floor will really liven up."
