ASP Ahianyo explained that the three suspects, Charles Appiah, Manaase Fumi and Felix, had plotted to abduct and kidnap the 14-year-old when they sold them the idea of ​​being able to collect several dollars from the victim's parents, domiciled abroad.

He revealed that Charles Appiah, a neighbor of the victim, had sold the idea to the gang who had agreed to execute the plan.

The police chief recounted that Charles had rented the abandoned apartment at 300 GH ¢ for the operation executed by Felix.

"They tied the boy, threw him in one of the pieces and then locked him; they then asked the grandmother to give them $ 3,000 to free the boy, "said ASP Ahianyo.

According to him, the boy was finally rescued by the police in Abuakwa after he managed to report a certain man walking past the window of the room.
