Spoilers Coronation Street – The new fury of Imran Habeeb revealed

Coronation Street Melo's star Charlie revealed that Imran Habeeb's anger was far from over as he continued to search for answers to his sister's death.

Imran feels justified next week when Carla Connor (Alison King) makes a huge confession at the Rana Memorial, admitting that she knew the roof of the underworld was shady.

The mourning lawyer has spent the past few days blaming Carla for what happened, and his fury only grows when he realizes he was right to say she was right.

Charlie explained, "Imran's eyes immediately go to Nick and Carla, as long as they were in charge of this building and should have known what was going on.

"They are careless at best, but over time, Imran takes on a detective role, talking to eyewitnesses, people working in the factory, and trying to solve the problem."

"When Carla confesses to the memorial, it is a mixture of revenge and anger that speaks against Carla and all who have not listened.

"Carla may not have known the extent of the damage on the roof, but as far as Imran is concerned, she might as well have been holding a bloody knife."

While Carla's confession sends the memorial into chaos, Rana's mourning partner, Kate Connor, ends up organizing a second service so that they can do it properly.

It annoys Imran – just like Yasmeen Nazir's decision to let Carla use the community center as a temporary factory while Underworld is repaired.

Charlie continued: "For Imran, the second memorial seems to indicate that people continue as if Carla's admission to the first memorial had not occurred and that it was a slap.

"He feels like he's going after him. He does not have the answers he needs nor the justice he so desperately wanted.

Not only that, he learns that Yasmeen will essentially work with Carla and he suddenly feels that no one else is even concerned about honoring Rana's memory and discovering the circumstances surrounding her death.

"We feel that they are just mouthing the memorial and that it's annoying for him, but it also reinforces his determination to get answers.

"Others can go back to work and come back to life with a semblance of reality, but Imran does not have that experience anymore – his only constant has been removed."

Coronation Street continues on sunday 31st march at 8pm on ITV.
