Warner Music Group unveils research on DTK Swanky – Take a look

Last month, Warner Music Group confirmed the transfer of its headquarters to downtown Los Angeles, in the arts district.

Warner / Chappell moved to the new building on February 25, followed by Warner Bros. Records and other labels on March 15th. The migration marks the first time that all divisions of Warner Music's West Coast exist under one roof in Los Angeles.

The building is located at 777 S. Santa Fe Avenue and was designed by the Rockwell Group. The building includes recording studios, artist lounges and custom designed offices.

The building was originally a showroom for the Ford Model T in 1912. Rockefeller architectural firm Kempel Architects renovated the building into a modern workspace. They also worked to preserve some of the most historic elements of the building.

Warner Bros. shared some pictures of his newly designed office space on Instagram, giving us a first glimpse. The reception contains some of Warner Music's best-selling albums of all time, followed by a laid-back art deco lounge.

Open offices, custom recording studios and extensive open-air collaboration spaces complete this space.

As part of this move, Warner Bros. Records has left its ski chalet headquarters in Burbank after more than 44 years. It's the end of one legacy, but maybe the beginning of another.

WMG says the new space "will provide an environment in which the distinctive cultures of WMG's various brands and business units will flourish while allowing for greater creative collaboration within the company."

Elektra, Atlantic, Rhino, WEA and ADA are also in the game. Warner Music Group said the nascent arts scene in Downton, Los Angeles, made it an ideal venue for its new headquarters.
