While Elizabeth Holmes could spend the next two decades in jail, the founder of Theranos, a failed blood test startup, would have found time to get engaged.
Holmes is engaged and lives in a luxury apartment with her fiancé in San Francisco, reports Vanity Fair. Reports say that the man is William "Billy" Evans, a 27-year-old heir to a chain of hotels in California.
Little is known about the couple's relationship, as they have largely kept social media and the press. The couple kept low profile for good reason – Holmes faces charges of federal fraud, because of allegations that she would have concealed the defective blood test technology from her business and allegedly defrauded investors.
