EC receives support from nuclear power plant to compile a new register of electors

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) supports the decision of the Electoral Commission (EC) to establish a new register of electors before the general elections to be held in 2020.

On Thursday, March 28, 2019, the EC issued a statement announcing its decision to establish a new voters register. In the press release signed by its chairman, Jean Mensa, the EC noted that the need to compile a new registration was agreed at the IPAC meeting.

In a statement signed by its secretary general, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, the main opposition said there was no discussion at the IPAC meeting on a new voter register.
