Jamie Carragher was less impressed by Maurizio Sarri's comments this week on Callum Hudson-Odoi
Jamie Carragher described Maurizio Sarri's comments about Callum Hudson-Odoi's English debut as "stupid".
Sarri admitted during the week that he had only watched 20 minutes of England's 5-1 win over Montenegro – a match in which Hudson-Odoi made his first departure to England even before playing a Premier League game for Chelsea.
"I saw the English national team for 20 minutes and Callum did not start very well on the right," he said. "He played very well on the left, from his first action, but I know very well that he prefers to play on the left."

Speaking on the Super Sunday prior to the Chelsea-Cardiff conflict, Carragher said Sarri was all wrong in publicizing his thoughts.
"It's a boy who makes his international debut, why do not you watch the full match?" he said.
