Liverpool 2-1 Tottenham: Five points to discuss against the chance that wins the Reds title

A stroke of luck in the last moments allowed Liverpool to retain its title in the title with a win over Tottenham.

The Reds took advantage in the 16th minute when Roberto Firmino led them to Andy Robertson's center.

But the Spurs retaliated and stabilized in the second half thanks to the arrival of poachers from the impressive Lucas Moura.

The match was announced for a portion of the points until Spurs defender Toby Alderweireld turned the ball into his own net for a Liverpool winner.

1. The title race goes on

Liverpool refuses to be moved in this title race as he still pursues the overriding Man City.

After their title rivals reached four points clear on Saturday, this match was crucial for the Reds' campaign.

It was not really Liverpool, and they seemed to have thrown him until luck reached him to give them the last winner.

Every point will be vital by the end of the season, and it could go both ways.

2. Salah continues to have failures

Mohamed Salah simply can not take a break at the moment.

The Egyptian striker tried unsuccessfully to score a goal, but that did not happen.

His recent form was summed up by his first attempt, which made him shine high and wide from distance goal.

The support of the Reds was found behind their "Egyptian king", but that did not help his fortune in front of goal.

He was then too late on a shot that was blocked while he should have slipped into Sadio Mane, before hitting another high chance.

However, he played a key role in the late winner, which could give him the confidence he needs.

And that would be so important for Liverpool.

3. Backs cause problems for Spurs

It is not uncommon for Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold to have a say in the debates of a game.

However, Tottenham's form was perfectly adapted to the Reds' backs, which caused them all kinds of problems.

Robertson and Alexander-Arnold were allocated acres of space on their flanks and got their first goal from there.

Firmino's head was fine, but Robertson had time to lift his head and pick his place before proceeding to a precise cross.

The goal allowed the Reds to gain a foothold, and they did not look back from there.

They were constantly changing their game and Alexander-Arnold had almost put Salah in place a few moments later.

The Spurs ended up mastering each other and changed shape to cover the wings, but the damage had already been done.

4. Shaky Alisson

The Liverpool keeper likes to live on the edge of the street.

But his unrestrained performance barely managed to calm the nerves of the Reds' camp and he nearly nearly fell.

He twice distorted clearances with his feet, before struggling to effectively manage a long ball over his head.

Alisson went out to clear but made a hash, preferring to leave room for James Milner who was retiring in the opposite direction.

It was only for a happy rebound that the Brazilian was able to recover the ball without being blushed.

It was a mistake, but that's how it could be decisive in the long run.

Even his only protection against Kane was not convincing as he pushed the ball to allow Eriksen to get another crack.

There is so little margin of error for the goalkeepers – the Reds fans know it too well.

5. This is A-Moura

So often, the titles on their talisman Harry Kane.

But it was Lucas Moura who stole the show for the Spurs, scoring a goal and causing all sorts of problems in Liverpool.

The Brazilian was a thorn in the Reds camp all afternoon.

He seemed most likely to score for the visitors, constantly leading the Reds defense with varying success.

And when given the chance, he scored his goal well, finishing Eriksen's efforts to get his team back in the game.

The Spurs have left the Premier League in recent weeks, but their performance has been improved and Moura could help them take off for a solid finish.
