Colton and Hannah G. had a very real connection to the last season of The single person. When it was revealed during the finale that he was completely crazy with Cbadie, the bulk of Bachelor Nation was in shock. We all thought that Hannah G., from the moment she got her first impression, would end up with Colton.
Hannah gave several interviews about the reality of her feelings and sorrow. She says, even though she is healed and is much better now, that it was really hard for a while.

She even told him that she was sure he would follow her. She believed that their connection was so strong that he would realize that he had made a mistake. While Colton broke up with Hannah, he mentioned that he did not know if he was making the right decision. It was not unreasonable for Hannah to think that he could have followed her.
"What Cbadie did was exactly what you did, and I had nothing left. I thought you were going to hunt me, as crazy as it sounds. I would say to one of the producers, "Tell me to brush my hair if he comes back as before, next week." And you did not do it. I had no reason to believe otherwise and I had so much confidence in you. I just take that word "fall in love" … I know you have to follow your heart and it's huge, but for me it was really very difficult. It's not fun, she tells him.
In an interview with Access, Hannah explained the idea that Colton would come after. She said she felt for a while that she had denied the fact that their relationship had ended so quickly.
"I feel as if, in the moment, I was so much in denial. Every time he closed the door, I was like "woah, that's all. I was like "there is no chance that it will end like this". It was just in the blink of an eye, and it was so, and it was heartbreaking. It was not fun, "she said.
Hannah G. does not regret having been 'The Bachelor'
Despite the pain, Hannah says that she would not change the experience of the world. She said that this very public grief had taught her how strong she was.
"It did not work out the way I wanted it but I learned so much, so I would do it at least eight million times. Because when do you have the chance to make yourself a priority and to love a priority – I've never had the time to do it, but it allowed me to do it ", she told Access.
