Nollywood actress and director Genevieve Nnaji has openly declared that she is a proud feminist in an interview with Women and Hollywood Magazine last year, has now explained his own type of feminism.
In her speech at the London School of Economics African Summit, the 39-year-old actress said her own feminism was only about human rights.
Genevieve says in her words:
"I think my own feminism is only human rights. I am a human who has the right to have choices. I can do what I want, when I want. It's as simple as that. If I were a man, it would be the same thing. At the end of the day, I'm born alone, I'm going to die alone, I'm breathing alone, so I definitely have the right to live what I want. "
