The Metropolitan Police think that the victim's car was followed for some time by a white Ford Focus, before the attack.

At the Amhurst Park Road junction with Rav Pinter Close, the Ford sits in the victim's car and four or five gunmen were out.

They then broke the windows of the victim's car before returning to the Ford Focus and escaping, Scotland Yard said. We do not know in which direction they went.

Three pbadengers who were also inside the vehicle at the time of the attack were not injured.
