Shatta Wale seems to have downplayed Stonebwoy's international exploits in recent weeks.
The AFRIMA Reggae / Dancehall year – round artist of the year traveled to Jamaica and was previewed on photos with the Grammy Award winner, Beenie Man.

Shortly after, Stonebwoy shared excerpts from a video clip shot with Beenie Man and asked the fans to anticipate the new collaboration.
Another video also appeared suggesting that the artist was making another clip with Tarrus Riley and Sean Paul.
Responding to the new prowess of his rival, Shatta Wale told King Lagazee about Yaad Settings on Hitz FM that he would not be going to Jamaica for the band.
"We are going ahead in the works. It's not taking pictures and moving here and there, meeting people … I can go to Jamaica anytime, but I can not travel to Jamaica to take pictures … ", was -he declares.
Shatta Wale said he took his time strategically establishing good contacts in Jamaica to promote his songs to make money.
"I want to buy a mansion in Jamaica, ride a G-Wagon in Jamaica, go to all Jamaican clubs and get things moving in Jamaica," he added.
The "Male Act of the Year" of the 2019 edition of the 3Music Awards mentions that it maintains the largest "links" in Jamaica and is in contact with leading artists.
Shatta Wale claims to have spoken to Beenie Man's daughter when he went to Jamaica and that she wanted to take her to the club, but he was busy shooting a video clip.
