Professor Osinbajo said this at a special thanksgiving ceremony for the victory of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in power during the recent presidential election held at the State House Conference Center in Nairobi. , Abuja.
He stated that while he had died in the accident during his disembarkation in Kabba, Kogi State, with his entourage, before the general elections, many government and non-government officials, including including his security information, would have been blamed or put in trouble for many things that they did not even know.
According to him, God deserved to be praised not only for saving his life, but also for saving many other people the trouble of being stained with false allegations. Reminiscing from memory, he recalled that after the incident, a woman repeatedly intimated that Kogi State itself could have been the cause of the accident.
He said, "On February 2, God gave me a reason to know that without his grace, we would have been consumed when our helicopter crashed. "When the accident occurred, there was complete silence for a moment. For a second, I told myself that if we were dead, that would have been: complete silence. But we all went out without a scratch. God has delivered us.
"God has also delivered those responsible for our safety; even the government of Kogi State would have also had problems. We give to God all the glory. I pray that God will also be kind to you all, so that you never lack support, attention and sincere prayers. "God certainly deserves to be praised," Osinbajo added, noting that "I have no particular qualifications. to be here but the exaltation comes from God ".
He also reiterated his previous promise to pursue his request for a peaceful university or university life in a speaker's family, but "I would not have thought I would go around the country campaigning for votes. in 2015 and thereafter ".
