Everton is investigating an alleged incident involving England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford at a party in Sunderland on Sunday.
Pickford was back in his hometown on a day off after Everton's win at West Ham United on Saturday, when he was involved in a dispute with a member of the public. The incident was filmed on a camera phone by a pbader-by.
His club opened an internal investigation into the events, just weeks after his manager, Marco Silva, said the 25-year-old had to improve his "emotional balance" following an erratic protest against Newcastle .
Everton said in a statement: "The club has been informed of an alleged incident involving one of our players and we are looking into the matter".
