Police claim to have discovered the place of detention of three girls kidnapped last year in Takoradi and is about to take them home.

"We know where the girls are," DCOP reporter Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah, director of the criminal investigation department, told reporters on Tuesday.

She called on the families of the victims to "continue to continue". Families desperately need to be informed of their daughters and their fate since Priscilla Bentum was kidnapped in August 2018 – the first of three kidnappings.

A suspect in the case, a Nigerian named Samuel Udoetuk Wills was badaulted in front of and in court at his last appearance on March 4, 2019.
