Chelsea must fight to keep Pedro with AC Milan and Inter Milan who would be interested in the signing of the striker this summer.

Pedro has played more than 100 league games for Chelsea since signing for Barcelona in 2015, helping the Blues win the Premier League and FA Cup titles.

The 31-year-old has only one year left on his contract this summer, and several clubs keep an eye on his situation at Stamford Bridge.

According to the Daily Express, the Italian giants AC Milan and Inter Milan want to bring Pedro in Serie A at the end of the season.

The former Barca player, Pedro, participates in one of his most productive campaigns at Chelsea, scoring nine goals in 42 appearances in all competitions.

And, speaking last month, the Spaniard has suggested extending his stay in West London.

"I've always said I'm happy here with my teammates," he said. "I'm happy with them, the fans, the city is good – but you never know."

Chelsea will be reluctant to lose Pedro, especially because striker Eden Hazard should leave the club for Real Madrid.

La Liga heavyweights have made Hazard one of their main targets before the summer transfer window after the return of their manager Zinedine Zidane to the club.

Chelsea had a mixed season under Maurizio Sarri but may return to the top four in the Premier League with the win over Brighton on Wednesday.

Sarri has been the subject of scandals and negative chants by Chelsea fans this weekend. The Blues boss said, "We have to improve.

'We have to play better. We want to try to change their opinion. I think that they have to help the players during the match.

"After that, they can say anything but while I hope to help my players, I think we are a band and for the moment I think we are a good band, so I do not think it's do not help my players.

"For me it's not a problem, I'm 60 so I can understand, but at 25, it was probably different."

Brighton is currently 15th in the table, just five points from the relegation zone.
