Ghanaian police said that a suspect was in custody for the murder of the underground journalist Ahmed Hussein-Suale.

Hussein-Suale, who was a member of Tiger Eye Private Investigations and was working on a presentation on corruption in Ghana's football leagues, was shot dead near his family home in Accra in January.

He was shot three times by unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle. According to the police, they are still looking for several ways to solve the mystery of his badbadination.

The police also said they interviewed 13 other people as part of the investigation. These include his colleague Anas Aremeyaw Anas, who heads Tiger Eye, former Ghanaian federation leader Kwesi Nyantakyi, who was at the center of the presentation, and MP Kennedy Agyapong, who exposed photos of the clandestine journalist a few months before his death.

Nothing indicates that they were involved in the murder.
