He stated that the program was aimed at professionalizing and licensing practitioners in the country; stating that "in this regard, the Authority has incorporated a Center of Excellence named – Supply Chain Support Services (SCSS), which will work closely with Commerce Edge to meet the requirements of this program. He said key players in Ghana's procurement and supply chain community should be closely involved.
These include the Office of the Minister of Procurement, the Accredited Institute of Procurement and Supply, the Ghana Institute of Procurement and Supply, the Chartered Institute of Supply Chain Management and Educational Institutions. who provide courses on purchasing and the supply chain.
