Kourtney Kardashian's new website has a surprising link with "Goop"

Kourtney Kardashian unveiled a new wellness-oriented website called Poosh. And it's surprisingly familiar to another celebrity-owned health publication: The One, The Only (Well, Not anymore), Goop. This is because the website has an amazing link to Gwyneth Paltrow's infamous and controversial website.

What is Poosh?

According to the site, Poosh is a "modern guide to live the best of his life" with the mission to educate, motivate, create and manage a modern lifestyle, achievable for all. Poosh because she "felt that something was missing in this healthy living space. Healthy living becomes a bad thing; it's as if you care about what you put in or on your body, so you're not bady or cool. But that's not true, and Poosh is there to prove it. "

"People are constantly asking me how I do everything from being a single mother to working full time to continuing to socialize. I receive countless questions about food, children, beauty and fashion, so I decided to create Poosh, an organized experience and a destination for modern life, "she added.

His reason for launching the website may seem inspiring, but it did not resonate with everyone. "She said this despite the fact that our collective obsession with everything we put in / on our body is at the base of several multibillion dollar industries and at least a few other websites," wrote The magazine.

Moreover, some fan reactions have not been what the The amazing Kardashian family star probably hoped. "So Poosh is just Kourtney Kardashian trying to do Gwyneth Paltrow Goop's stuff … but not so good … I understood …" wrote a user. "The Kourtney Kardashian lifestyle site made me appreciate Goop. Yes, Gwyn is crazy, but Poosh is so devoid of personality that it's really the least interesting website to watch, "said another, hilariously reminding of the time when Kim Kardashian West had stated that Kourtney was "the least interesting to watch".

Poosh vs Goop

In a quick scroll, you may notice some shocking similarities between Poosh and Goop. Both were launched by health obsessed celebrities, both have similar branding (at least on their home page) and, of course, both, they focus on the welfare. However, there is another similarity that you may have missed: both have two O's in their name. Coincidence? We do not think so.

according to WWDKourtney Kardashian's website was named in honor of her daughter, Penelope, nicknamed "Poosh". However, there may be another underlying factor that Kris Jenner might have noted when implementing Kourtney's idea.

When Gwyneth Paltrow reflected on the names of her wellness project, she learned that some of the most successful online businesses had a double "O", which allowed her to go from "GP" to "Goop".

We will probably never really whether Kourtney (and Kris) have researched Gwyneth Paltrow's website thoroughly and discovered the reason she chose to name her company Goop. But judging by the backlash, some fans will not follow Kardashian's Goop.
