Abu Sakara Foster, former presidential candidate of the People's Party of the Convention (PCP), urged young people to remain united despite religious and sectoral differences.

"The nation is fortunate to enjoy peace, unity and stability, we can not afford to destroy it, we must be aware of what is happening in the countries around us and work for the protection of our peace, our unity and our stability.

Dr. Foster spoke at a national consultative meeting of Wangara (Mende) leaders on "Peace, Unity and Development: The Way Forward".

"Today, we have many problems and situations that surround our country, our neighbors do not know peace, we have challenges in Burkina Faso, Niger and Mali because of the extremist nature under the guise of religious extremism.

If our people do not understand that it is a ploy and that this peaceful coexistence with our fellow Ghanaians can be disrupted if we follow such people, we will have difficulties, "warned the Dr. Foster.

He emphasized that the meeting was important because it allowed them, as Mendes, to affirm their commitment, dedication and determination as citizens of this country and congratulated the leaders for the organization of the meeting that brought together people dispersed in the diaspora. a long moment.
