Bolton: the game will go from the front while the ban notification is lifted
Thursday, April 4th, 2019 10:12

The city match in Bolton Wanderers will go ahead as planned, with the local council's safety advisory group lifting the Bolton University stadium ban.

As noted earlier, the Security Advisory Group held an emergency meeting last night and, according to BBC Radio Manchester, have reinstated the security certificate "following the badurances of the club".

A statement from the council reads as follows: "We recognize that the Bolton Wanderers Football Club is at the heart of our community and that this situation is deeply regrettable.

"The partners are going beyond expectations to put in place the necessary plans for the games to go forward."

The city also confirmed that the match would go as originally planned with 1,300 Blues ready to travel to the North West with tickets at £ 5 (£ 5) overall.
