Next month brings the release of Jamila Woods' album, HERITAGE! HERITAGE!. In the run-up to the recording, the Chicago R & B artist unveiled a new video clip for his single "Eartha".
The clip was directed by Woods and Woods poet Fatimah Asghar, and presents pose star Indya Moore and Langston Kerman from HBO's hit series Unsafe. As for the song itself, the black and white visual pays homage to singer / dancer / activist / actress Eartha Kitt. The icon of the end illustrated Catwoman on the Batman TV series in 1967; Throughout the video "Eartha", we can see Woods wearing the same clothes of superheroes.
