Rejected Mt. Gox victims have a second chance to recover their lost bitcoin

All who used Mt. Gox or even those who have lost money on the disfavored bitcoin exchange have the right to receive anything from the civil rehabilitation plan, reveals a recently published document on the missed exchange website.

Approved creditors have the right to challenge the claims of other creditors, who in turn have the right to appeal. Japanese law also provides for "self-approved claims", but these creditors are subject to a different procedure.

Self-approved applicants also do not have the right to vote on various aspects of the Civil Rehabilitation Plan, a power reserved for creditors approved by the curator for rehabilitation. Victims whose self-approved claims have been rejected by other creditors have until May 7 to appeal to the Tokyo District Court, which will decide whether the claim is valid or not.

If an approved creditor has opposed your request, you only have until May 7 to settle it, according to the document:

Approved creditors may reject claims of others
