JEFF Bezos is still the richest man in the world, despite his divorce from his wife MacKenzie.
The founder of Amazon previously had a 16% stake in Amazon, but will now give 4% to his ex-wife.

The 16% stake in the online giant was worth more than $ 140 billion.
The divorce agreement will allow Bezos to retain a 12% stake, worth $ 100 billion.
That means he's still $ 4 billion richer than Bill Gates.
MacKenzie's four percent share is $ 35 billion, making it the third richest woman in the world.
Amazon.com Inc. has confirmed that a petition for divorce was filed Thursday and that it should be approved by the court in about 90 days.
The divorce will see the founder of the Amazon also take the actions of his wife in the Washington Post and Blue Origin, as well as his voting rights.

Bezos and his wife had been married for 25 years before announcing their separation in January.
Shortly after the couple's split on Twitter, it became apparent that Bezos was seeing former TV presenter Lauren Sanchez.
One of her friend's friends said she and Bezos were "madly in love" and even intended to get married after divorcing.
Sources said that their relationship had not started until the end of their marriage.

Jeff Bezos accused an American magazine of trying to blackmail him after he threatened to publish explicit bad photos of the businessman and his mistress.
In an extraordinary public statement, the Amazonian billionaire said the alleged threat was an attempt to stop his investigation into how the messages exchanged between himself and Lauren Sanchez had first been transmitted to The National Enquirer.
Intimate details about the couple's case were published in Enquirer magazine in January, just hours after Bezos announced the divorce of his wife MacKenzie.
