Professor Ebenezer Oduro Owusu and his team are in the United States for Reinventing Higher Edu
Professor Ebenezer Oduro Owusu, Vice Chancellor of the University of Ghana, led a team from the University of Ghana to the Reinventing Higher Education Conference at Brown University in the United States of America.
The Brown University is the seventh oldest college in the United States of America. The University hosted the conference jointly with the IE University of Spain.
Other prestigious universities represented include the London School of Economics and University College London.
Speaking to the sides of the conference, the Vice Chancellor said that the University of Ghana is making progress in formulating marketing communications and customer service policies and has also developed a service charter. to improve the service experience of all its customers. .
He said that all these initiatives were aimed at forging partnerships and international networks for the University and that the University of Ghana was very interested in international partnerships.
He revealed that he had just returned from a visit to British institutions and that the University of Ghana was seeking to collaborate with more institutions in Europe and in the Americas.
The Vice Chancellor said his strategic imperative to make the UG a preferred university was to make it internationally attractive for students and major donor institutions.
The Vice Chancellor was accompanied by the Director of the Human Resources Directorate of the University of Ghana and the Head of Marketing and Entrepreneurship Department of the Business School of the University of Ghana.
