STE lecturers reinstated, school reopens April 8

The Winneba Education College (STE) is expected to reopen on April 8, 2019, after a stalemate between students and school authorities led to the closure of the university.

After a series of meetings, the Board of Governors issued a statement which reads as follows: "On the advice and permission of the Regional Security Council, the Board of Governors wishes to announce to the attention of the general student population and the Board of Governors. general public the following schedule University reopening: Monday, April 8, 2019 – Arrival of students on campus Tuesday, April 9 "Friday, April 201 to Friday, April 13, 2019 – Semester exams."

The Council also reinstated the three speakers sacked by Vice Chancellor Professor Anthony Afful-Broni.

Professors Ephraim Avea Nsoh, Emmanuel Osei Sarpong and Frimpong Kwaku Duku have all been reinstated in their ranks at the University as of Thursday, April 4th.
