Video: Ghanaians subscribe to mediocrity and denigration – Inna talks about suing beauty queens

Inna Mariam Patty, CEO of Exclusive Events, organizer of the Miss Ghana contest, said that Ghanaians were mediocre and that they enjoyed defamation.

Before launching Miss Ghana in 2019, Inna revealed during a conversation with MzGee of JoyNews that Stephanie Karikari, Antoinette Delali Kemavor and Margaret Kumah Mintah, a blogger, were sued for defamation.

This follows many allegations against her as the organizer of the Miss Ghana contest by her former competitors.

Inna described the actions of the ladies as deliberate and malicious.

"I am sure that those who discern will know that it is a clear or deliberate attempt to destroy our hard-earned reputation, and in particular of my reputation, and what is the best way to resolve this problem that resorting to the legal system … we defame people with immunity and it is high time to stop, "she said.

"It's unfortunate that we live in a society that likes to denigrate people and belittles people," she added.
