WWE superstars, Zack Ryder and Chelsea Green, got engaged in the shadow of the Empire State Building three days before WrestleMania.
In fact, the long-time couple had started joking earlier the same day when he appeared on the podcast "Major Wrestling Figure".
Ryder, 33, well known for his love of wrestling action figures, kneels down and offers Green a "ring", albeit a wrestling ring.
Rookie NXT Green then kicked the former Intercontinental Champion.
Later that day, near the iconic New York monument for Green's 28th birthday, Ryder asked the question for good.
He announced the news with a tweet channeling "Macho Man" Randy Savage, stating, "She said Ooh yeah!"
In the short video clip, Ryder asks, "What's happened, baby?" while Green, delighted, juggling a bottle of champagne shouts: "I'm engaged to baby!"
Ryder and Green have been dating for two years. Green has made herself known as a TNA Impact star, Laurel Van Ness – as a psychotic bride as well – before signing for the WWE NXT brand.

The former IMPACT Knockout Champion lived in Devon, UK, at the age of eight. His mother and grandparents are all British.

Ryder will fight for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship with his partner Curt Hawkins against title holder The Revival at WrestleMania on Sunday.
He won the Intercontinental Championship in a ladder match at WrestleMania 32, famously and unexpectedly.
Green made her debut as an NXT in the March 13 television broadcast by beating Jessie Elaban – although she broke her wrist during the match.

The former WWE announcer, who has become AEW brand leader, Brandi Rhodes, sent him his best wishes.
She said, "I put these two pieces together … and it worked, I'm going to charge for the matches now, congratulations to you both, I love you, guys!"
