Looking for an Airbnb for your next Parisian stay? Maybe a small apartment near Notre-Dame or a private room in Montmartre? How about the Louvre? Yes, as in the Louvre with the Mona Lisa. In fact, why do not you let the Mona Lisa to be your host for the evening?

The Louvre partners with Airbnb to offer a unique opportunity to a lucky pair of guests. On the night of April 30ththe winners of the incredible chance to stay at the museum will enjoy a dinner and drinks in the company of Michelangelo's precious painting, as well as the Venus of Milo. The Louvre guest will then have the chance to see the Mona Lisaand many other works of art, without the hustle and bustle of the crowd of visitors looking for the best overview of all the important paintings held at the museum. They will do so during guided tours after hours by one of the Louvre's VIP guides – an experience usually reserved for presidents and celebrities. They can also meet in the Rococo lounge of Napoleon III to attend an "intimate acoustic concert" before going to bed. Their dwelling will be a pyramid-shaped frosted glbad piece built to emulate the iconic entrance to the pyramid created by the Chinese-American artist I. M. Pei. The room will be under the pyramid of glbad in the main entrance of the Louvre. Although guests may not be able to marvel in the museum as they please, they will have the chance to enjoy parts of the museum in an unprecedented way.

"We know that many people would like to have the opportunity to wander alone at night in the Louvre and we want it to be a magical and unforgettable experience," said Anne-Laure Béatrix, Deputy Director General of the Louvre.

The Louvre worked with Airbnb to create this experience that celebrates the 30th anniversary of the opening of the iconic Pei pyramid. It will not be the only event either. This is the first event of a larger series to be set up as part of the partnership. From May, the Louvre and Airbnb will offer "intimate concerts" and "exclusive visits" to lucky guests until the end of the year.

This is one of the ways in which the museum strives to reach new audiences and stay in step with its times. It also arrives at a time when the museum reaches a record of attendance after attracting 10 million guests in 2018, largely thanks to the video clip of Beyoncé and Jay-Z, "Apes ** t & # 39;, shot throughout the museum and extensive investigation Delacroix.

You can enter your name on the drawing until April 12th.th right here. Maybe you and one of your best friends could you live Beyoncé's dreams by having the museum for you for one night?
