I can beat Adongo in any economic debate – Abronye DC

The First Vice-President of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Bono region criticized the economic prowess of Bolgatanga Central MP Isaac Adongo.

Mr. Kwame Baffoe, aka Abronye DC, stated that the economic badysis proposed by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) MP to counter that of the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, was appropriate only for "the sale of dog meat".

Mr. Adongo, when he presented the true state of the economy at a forum organized by the "Coalition for Restoration" on the theme: "The State of the Ghanaian Economy: The Myth of the Truth" , criticized the government for borrowing carelessly.

"In 2018, we went to borrow $ 750 million. Only $ 119 million was spent on investment and $ 631 million on consumption. Our children will have to pay for it and they have nothing to show for it, "he said.

In response to Mr. Adongo, Mr. Baffoe explained that the supposed guru of the economy was not a solution to resuscitate the so-called troubled economy of the nuclear power plant.

Rather, he claimed that Mr. Adongo was throwing invectives at Dr. Bawumia for revealing the incompetence of the NDC when he was in power.

Abronye DC said, "I can beat Adongo hands down," he said.

"Adongo's economic badysis is only valid for the sale of dog meat on the Bolgatanga market. I will beat him in all debates, "said the head of the NPP.

According to Mr Adongo's behavior, Mr Baffoe said that it was obvious that the NDC did not have the men needed to run the Ghanaian economy if it won power.
