Nearly a year after the death of Avicii (born Tim Bergling), his team announced a new posthumous album titled Tim, with the single "SOS" at the head of the group, scheduled for April 10.
According to a press release, the Swedish musician was about to finish a new album before his death. He left a collection of "almost finished songs as well as notes, e-mail conversations and text messages on music". His composing staff continued the process, trying to align as faithfully as possible with his vision.
Tim will be published on June 6th. The proceeds from this album will go to the nonprofit Tim Bergling Foundation, created by his family shortly after his death, to raise public awareness of mental illness and suicide.
The last album of the DJ was 2015 stories. He has collaborated with such artists as Rita Ora, Adam Lambert, David Guetta, Lenny Kravitz, Madonna.
