Many rarities in the collection

The Monteiro collection includes more than 1000 games for Playstation 1, over 900 for Playstation 4 and more than 500 for the X Box One. In addition, it has all games published in North America for various consoles such as Playstation 2, Playstation 3, PSP, Xbox, SEGA CD, Atari Jaguar, Neo Geo Pocket, Sega Dreamcast, NES, GameCube, Wii or Wii U. The rarities of his collection include, for example, all the games for the Nintendo 64 DD. This is an accessory for the Nintendo 64, which allowed access to the online service "RandnetDD". The camera only appeared in Japan and was sold about 15,000 times. Nine games appeared for the 64DD.

The last record holder was also an American: Michael Thombadon. He had more than 11,000 games and sold his collection in 2014 for 750,250 US dollars.
